To inform the manager and the children the reason we
visit them.
Ways of conduct :
All the facilitators will start preparing the materials
needed for the day and representative of the facilitators will give an
opening speech to the manager and children.
Outcome :
The kids and the manager will understand the aim of our
visit.

Ice
Breaking
|
Objective :
To allow interaction between members
Ways of conduct :
Assignation of groups, group leaders and ice breaking in
each group. The children are given some M&M’s which are not allowed to be
eaten. Different meanings for each
colour are assigned. Blue = dream , green = school , yellow = friends, red =
hobbies, brown = music or movies. How many M&M’s are in their hands, that
is how many facts they have to tell the facilitators and their friends.
Outcome :
They get to know about the facilitators and among each
other more. They will also learn how to be more outgoing around the
facilitators.

Gotong
Royong
|
Objective :
To clean up Rumah Charis together with the children.
Ways of conduct :
The facilitators and the children will be divided into
few groups. Each group will given different tasks for the gotong royong
activities.
Outcome:
The children and the facilitators will learn how to help
one another and they will understand the importance of teamwork. Rumah Charis
will be cleaner too.

Computer
Tutoring Session

Objective:
To help the students with their homework and expand their
computing knowledge.
Ways of conduct:
The facilitators will try to help the children to
complete their homework and they will also teach the children the basic computer
knowledge in groups.
Outcome:
The children will be done with their homework and they
will be more expert in using computers.

Objective :

Ways to Conduct :
The children are being sort according to their age, 1

Objective :
As a closure of the whole day activity
Ways of Conduct:
The facilitators and the children are going to take
pictures together and the members of committee will be giving a closing
speech, explaining the benefits of conducting this programme. This speech
will end on a thank you note.
Outcome:
Activities carried out are concluded.

Representative of the facilitators
(SIQ Social Engagement Group 22) will give an opening speech to the children.
The objective and details of this
programme will be stated clearly and everyone will be divided into groups for
the preparation of Charity Bazaar.

Preparation for Bazaar
(session 1)
|
Objective: To help the host for their
Charity Bazaar event to run smoothly.
Ways to conduct: All the facilitators
and the children will start preparing the materials needed for the event that
will be conducted throughout day according to their groups
Benefit : Everyone gets the experience
on how to conduct a Charity Bazaar and ease the burden of the host to manage
it themselves.

Preparation for Bazaar
(session 2)

Objective: To make a last preparation
and clean up before the event
Ways to conduct: each group will
continue preparing up what needs to be done and help other group if they have
finish their task. Then everyone will clean up the place.
Benefit : The Charity Bazaar is set up
nicely and the event will run smoothly as everyone is responsible for their
task.

Closing Speech
& Photo session |
A closing speech will be given by one
of the facilitators or the host explaining the summary and benefits of
conducting this programme. The speech will end on a thank you and good luck
note to the children’s home person in charge for the next
day event.

3) Charity Bazaar (27/04/2019)

will start setting up the game booth and preparing the materials needed for
the games that will be conducted throughout event.

Objective:
To expose children to simple & fun
games and to train children to improve their accuracy and consistency when it
comes to aiming.
Ways to Conduct:
Players must throw 3 ping pong balls
into the paper cups at a certain distance within 5 minutes to get rewards.
Facilitators will be in charge of handling the game booth.
Outcome:
Children will learn to improve their
accuracy and consistency in aiming.

2
|
Objective:
To expose children to simple and fun
games and train their patience.
Ways to Conduct:
Players must blow the ping pong ball
floating on the paper cups from the 1st cup to the 5th cup without falling
within 5 minutes to get rewards. Facilitators will be in charge of handling
the game booth.
Outcome:
Children will learn to be more
patient.

A closing speech will be given by one
of the facilitators explaining the summary and benefits of handling the
event. Gift will be presented by the facilitators to the representative of
Rumah Charis as a token of appreciation. A photo session will be held where
all the facilitators, children and committees of Rumah Charis will take a
group photo together.

|
Objective : To start the day with energetic and
happy vibes.
Ways to conduct : The members of committee will
show and teach the moves to the children and exercise together based on the
music.
Outcomes : Improve physical and mental health
besides having fun.

|
Objective: To help cleaning the facility and to
create an environment of team work.
Ways to conduct: Assignation of groups, each
group will clean a specific area of the children’s home.
Outcome: They get to know among each other and
the environment will be more clean

Materials:
(Guitar/Keyboard)

Objective: To foster bonds and entertain the
children.
Ways to conduct: a few members from the committee
will perform a solo/duets/acoustics/playing musical instruments. The children
can also sing a long.
Outcomes: they can learn about the type of
performance and also enjoy the show by the committee members and the bonds
between us can be strengthen.
