Introduction of Our Project

Background

Nowadays, most of us do not care enough about children, especially the students and the youths. Youngsters nowadays would rather stick to their gadgets whole day. Those stuffs lead to lack of social skills and communication with others. The problem faced is that most of the time people are not interested to visit the children’s home, hence in coordination with our upcoming social engagement project, we have decided that there is a rising need to enlighten other people like the underprivileged children. Our project is to visit a children’s home to do some activities with them. After promoting our project, other people will have more interest to visit the children’s home. They will be more willing to spend time with the underprivileged children.

Moreover, we are concerned about the soft skills and self-confidence of underprivileged children. Throughout the participation of our activities, they will be given the chance to improve their soft skills other than gaining knowledge in the school or in the books. They are required to communicate with one another in order to complete their tasks. This kind of learning method is different from what they usually went through in class. At the same time, they have the opportunity to be more creative and innovative, which are some important skills for their future.

In conclusion, as the organizer of this project, we plan to share the experience and learn few things from them. Therefore, we hope that this project will successfully encourage other people to visit the children’s home. At the same time, through this project, we hope that the house and our team will gain valuable benefits whether directly or indirectly. Benefits to the children’s home would be they will have a good time with us. On the other hand, our team would gain invaluable experiences in which we could enjoy the chance to engage with society in such an enjoyable activity.
